News can be virtually silent. It can remain unheard, unread and unnoticed. If the news remains unuttered, nothing will change because no one will know about it. Nonetheless, it can sow the seeds of new opinions since someone found it and reported it.
Such is the state of cycling in Copenhagen, one of the top cycling cities in the world. According to the GlobalPost, Copenhagen is facing a cyclist backlash. They wrote: “Copenhagen cyclists are earning a reputation for recklessness and arrogance, prompting calls for politicians to back-pedal on plans to further boost bike traffic.”
The article goes on to describe cyclist behavior much like what we hear about in the U.S. As the number of cyclists has increased, so has the amount of irresponsible behavior. Continue Reading ….
